How does your garden grow?
I'm on a voyage of discovery in my first garden.
It's mostly about the veggies at the moment but I'm also discovering lots about flowers and other plants - quite often the hard way and always on a very tight budget.
But this blog is not just about my garden, it's about all the things I see and discover in Sussex and beyond and I would love to hear from you too.

Gardens visit: Sheffield Park
We visited Sheffield Park, near Uckfield, today and, for once, I took my camera.
We endured a bit of rain but the sun came out eventually.
Anyway, here are some photos that, for once, are not taken on my phone...

Garden visit: St Mary's House
With a lot of the visitor gardens closing for winter, I made a last minute dash to St Mary's House and garden in Bramber.
The exceptionally attentive staff guided my every step through the beautiful 15th house but the garden was a far more relaxed affair.
Mobile phone snaps below...

Olympic park gardens
On Monday, I ventured as far as London to watch athletes do unimaginable and seemingly impossible things at the Olympic stadium.
I never imagined my trip would result in a garden blog post but the planting of wild-looking gardens around the Olympic park is stunning.
Here are a few snaps I took on my phone.

Garden visit: High Beeches
The azaleas are blooming like crazy at High Beeches Gardens in Handcross. These snaps were taken on my phone.
